Core workflow
How to complete a quote.

Choose the lane.Select the origin city and destination city first. The calculator uses this lane for the full shipment.

Pick quote type.Full Quote includes delivery service. Middle Mile Only keeps the quote focused on freight movement.

Add each order.Use separate orders when the shipment has different delivery needs, product groups, or handling requirements.

Enter freight details.Choose pallets or floor-loaded boxes, then enter quantities, dimensions, and weights as accurately as possible.

Review and send.Check the breakdown, add any services needed, then copy the details, call, email, or request the booking.
Service levels
Choose the handling that matches the delivery.
01CurbsideDelivery to driveway or first dry area. Best for simple handoff when indoor placement is not required.
02ThresholdInside front door delivery. Useful when freight needs to cross the door but does not need room placement.
03Room of ChoiceCarried to the chosen room. Use this when placement inside the home or business is required.
04White GloveUnbox, assemble, and remove debris when selected. Extra time is entered on the White Glove order itself.
05Additional ServicesAdd carrier accessorials for the freight move, plus final-mile extras such as stairs, door removal, haul-away, or appointment when they apply.
06Custom ReviewFor oversized freight, special access, unusual equipment, or lanes where OKE should confirm before pricing.
Measurements
How to enter boxes, pallets, and weights.
Floor-loaded boxesEnter the number of same boxes, weight per box, and the packaged length, width, and height for that box group.
PalletsEnter the number of same pallets, boxes per pallet, weight, and pallet dimensions. If the weight you have is per box on the pallet, switch the weight basis to Per box.
Total order weightIf you only know the total weight for an order, enter it in Total order weight. The calculator will use that for actual weight while still using row dimensions for cube and linear feet.
Multiple box or pallet groupsAdd a new group when dimensions or weights are different. Duplicate an order when the next order is similar and only small edits are needed.
Linear feetLinear feet estimate how much trailer floor space the freight uses. Over 10 linear feet, instant public pricing is paused for custom review.
Tip: Use packaged dimensions, not product-only dimensions. Labels, packing slips, and manufacturer specs are usually better than visual estimates.
Before booking
Quick accuracy checklist.
ALaneConfirm city, province, pickup location, and destination location before sending the request.
BFreightConfirm total pieces, pallet count, dimensions, actual weight, and whether weight is per box, per pallet, or total order.
CAccessConfirm stairs, elevator, dock, appointment needs, doorway restrictions, and whether debris removal or assembly is required.
DTimingChoose the preferred pickup date and include any schedule restrictions in the booking notes.
EContactInclude the best name, email, phone number, pickup address, delivery address, and any access instructions for follow-up.

How to read the quote and send a copy.
Detailed cost breakdownOpen the Detailed cost breakdown inside the calculator to see what is included in the base delivery line, selected accessorials, final-mile extras, fuel, tax, and custom-review notes.
Quote CoachThe calculator highlights missing pickup dates, likely accessorial checks, dimensional-weight warnings, White Glove time buffers, and prep actions while the quote is being built.
Saved quote pageEmail buttons open the saved quote page first. From there the customer can review pricing, copy the full quote, print it, or open the same quote in the calculator.
Fast city entryYou can still pick cities from the list, but typing the full served city name also locks the city in automatically and opens the next lane field.
Prep checklistUse the public prep page before submitting a booking request to collect contacts, measurements, access notes, photos, and timing restrictions.
ShareUse Share to copy a quote link for the customer. This is the cleanest way to send a live copy without screenshots.
CopyUse Copy when you want a plain text summary for email, SMS, or chat.
Confirm bookingWhen the booking request is submitted, OKE receives the quote, pickup and delivery addresses, contact details, notes, and requested timing. The customer also receives a confirmation email copy.
Request changesOn a saved quote page, use Request changes when the quote needs an edit instead of a booking. Add a clear note so OKE can adjust service, freight, timing, or address details.
Email or callFor custom quotes, oversized shipments, or urgent timing, use the email and call buttons so OKE can review equipment, access, and capacity directly.
Tip: If anything looks uncertain, send the quote link and notes instead of rebuilding the quote. OKE can review the same lane, freight rows, services, and totals.
